VBMR Series Magnetically-Coupled Hollow Rotary Feedthroughs

Our VBMR series feedthroughs are equipped with a magnetically-driven sub-flange and are available in two sizes . They are capable of full continuous 360º rotation driven by 2 phase stepper motor. Unlike our DDF series, because they are magnetically-driven, no differentially-pumped seal is required, leading to enhanced durability and vacuum performance, especially when fast rotation is needed. They include a rotary table with tapped holes on the vacuum side.

  • Moving flange sizes DN40CF and DN63CF (tapped holes)
  • In-vacuum rotary table with M4 holes for mounting customer equipment
  • Driven by 2 phase NEMA23 stepper motor
  • Bakeable to 230ºC (motor and toothed belt must be removed for bakeout)
  • Pressure range 1 bar to 10-11 mbar
  • Flanges from 316LN, tube from 316L stainless steel
  • Optional limit switches and other motor types on request (please ask!)
