VBPD40LD Long rotary feedthrough for XYZ manipulator 4th axis
This long shaft version of the PD40 series rotary feethrough is designed to be compatible with our VBPMK series manipulators in order to add a 4th (rotation) axis. They can be manually or stepper-motor driven and are mounted on a DN40CF flange

- 38mm maximum outer diameter in vacuum
- 10mm rotary shaft diameter
- Length “L”: with the Z travel of the XYZ manipulator fully retracted, the shaft is designed protrude by 150mm from the base flange (Other lengths on request)
- 0-360º rotation with 0.1º resolution
- Transferrable torque 4 Nm
- Maximum rotation speed 400 revs/min
- UHV compatible, bakeout up to 230ºC (motors have to be removed if motorised)
- Flanges 316LN, tube and bellows 316L stainless steel
- Pressure range 1 bar – 1×10-11 mbar
- Stepper motor version with Oriental PKP 268 MD 28B (Oriental) stepper motor
- Optional limit switches (+/-181º) or motor encoder (please ask)
