VBMDWS Series Magnetically-Coupled Wobble Sticks (1 rotation, 1 linear axis)
Our VBMDWS series wobble sticks are designed to provide linear, tilt and rotation axes for applications where a pincer is not required. Typically they are fitted with a SPECS-style transfer tool for flag style sample holders with a 90º release/engage mechanism which can be provided optionally as part of the package. These wobble sticks include a parking station and stop ring.

- Rod terminates on the vacuum side with a 6mm shaft with an M3 threaded hole in the end
- Minimum in-vacuum length 61mm without transfer tool fitted
- Rotation range 360º
- Angular range +/-22º
- Transferrable torque: 0.6 Nm (0.9Nm for high torque version)
- Transferrable axial force 38 N (54 N for high torque version)
- UHV compatible, bakeout up to 230ºC
- Flanges 316LN, tube and bellows 316L stainless steel
- Pressure range 1 bar – 1×10-11 mbar

- Transfer tools not included as standard but available
