VBMLSM Series Linear Feedthroughs

A robust bellows-based linear feedthrough which can be driven by handwheel or by stepper motor. The feedthrough has an 8mm diameter shaft and is available with DN16CF and DN40CF flanges and with travels from 25-150mm.

Key Features

DN16CF and DN40CF flange sizes (with through holes) only
Flanges are double-drilled to suit straddled or in-line flange mounting orientations
Travel options from 25-150 mm
Shaft diameter 8mm (last 20 mm turned down to 6mm diameter)
Thread pitch 2mm
External diameter 46.5 mm
M3 threaded hole, 10mm deep in the end of the shaft
Graduated scale on the external body for reproducible positioning
Positioning resolution 0.01 mm for manual version, 0.001mm with stepper motor
Flanges 316LN, bellows 316L stainless steel
Pressure range 1bar – 10^-11mbar
Bakeable to 230ºC (with motor removed if motorised)

Shaft-end design modifications on request (please ask)
Motorised version supplied as standard with PKP 244 MD 15B-L stepper motor (Oriental): NEMA 17 / 0,4 Nm
Motorised version can optionally be fitted with a higher torque stepper motor PKP 268 MD 28B (Oriental) NEMA 23 / 2 Nm (please ask – part number MLS….S2 rather than MSLM….S2)
Motorised version can optionally be fitted with limit switches, linear encoder, linear potentiometer or motor encoder to provide feedback on manipulator position
