Siphon for VBHVK Helium Cryostats
These vacuum-insulated siphons are designed to tranfer liquid helium or nitrogen from the dewar to the VB-HVK series cryostats. They are available in U shape for vertically-mounted cryostats or L shape for horizontally-mounted.
Key Features
- L shaped version for horizontal mounting
- U shaped version for vertically mounted cryostats
- Double layer transfer hose with external layer under vacuum
- The optional SV16 valve can be used to occasionally pump on the vacuum insulation layer to improve the vacuum. It is not necessary to pump continuously
- In cases where space close to the cryostat is constrained, the VU version of the cryostat has the connection for the SV16 at the dewar side of the hose instead of the cryostat end
