XYZ Manipulators, Dual Bellow
Dual bellows manipulators have separate bellows to enable the XY and Z motions. This means they are better suited to larger base flanges above DN100CF, and particularly well suited to applications where a long Z travel is needed, although short travel versions are also possible. As a consequence of the XY bellows being larger than the one for Z, the insert size is limited by the Z bellows diameter and the inner diameter of the corresponding support bearing. The narrower Z bellows also means that the internal surface area is significantly lower than an equivalent single bellows solution. The XY stage in a dual bellows manipulator is always at the base flange side which also gives improved rigidity and stability.

Key Features
- Complimentary range of sample stages available with optional heating and cooling
- Base flange sizes from DN100CF to DN250CF
- Moving flange DN40CF-DN160CF
- XY travels either +/-12.5mm or +/-25mm depending on model
- Z travels from 50-1000mm depending on model
- Motorisation is available for Z axis only or all three axes
- Additional rotation stage can be added
When selecting an XYZ manipulator, it is important to consider:
- Mounting flange
- Mounting orientation
- Whether manual or motorised operation is needed.
- Requirements for electrical wiring
- How much movement is needed in all the axes
- The sample holder solution and its orientation
